Answer for Hi team, I am a beginner of sql I tried installing Mysql in my desktop after agreeing to terms and conditions, I choose custom option and after that I am unable see workbench option under Application tab, kindly assist me on this please

Hi Girish!

When uninstalling MySQL, please make sure that apart from control panel, you remove any traces of it from

1. Firewall (if applicable)


2. your drive (i.e. remove all files associated to MySQL)


3. the windows registry (regedit).

Only after you have completed all these 4 steps (control panel + the 3 we’ve listed here) can you restart your computer and retry the installation process again.
