Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. 

There are several ways to remove duplicate rows in MySQL. Which one to choose will depend on your settings and database. 
Adding a UNIQUE index on the columns of a table is one way, by using a DELETE statement with a WHERE condition is the other. Perhaps these are the two most frequently encountered solutions.
